Hello everyone,
Well, It was a wet weekend ! I apologize to all that wanted to visit and could not. I welcome you all to reschedule at your earliest convenience.
A lil work did take place in the wetness. A road/trail was cut to the Main Branch for better access. I then started to park out the lower camping area by the Main Branch. I hope this area to be utilized for several activities. It is great access to the creek, good( away from it all) camping, Great for spectating area when hare scrambles or Trials events are being held, and maybe Paint ball. It will be a beautiful area after a lil more work.
There has been much talk about needing and making new trails. I and others are working as often as we can on that. The road that I cut to the Main Branch is still in need of work but is very rideable. I have another one that is ready to ride. It breaks off the Main Trail headed for the creek crossings. Its to the right and goes up and around the back of the camping area. It will be needing broke in, so have at it. I will be adding to and making changes to the trail map. Keep looking on this site for a link that will be that updated map.
I guess that's all for now. Keep those feet on the pegs and eyes on the trail ! Hugh

Hi Peoples !
Just a little note to remind everyone that this Saturday is the first day of archery hunting. The tracks are open from 10am til 2PM but the trails are to be closed all day. :(    Sunday will be the day !  :)  Open access all day Sunday.
I added some lil changes to the site tonite and a link to some cool pics. Check them out. As always keep checking back for updates and info changes. More links to come.
Remember, ... Its all in the wrist ! Hugh

Hello All,
Just a few things that may be of interest today.
I did confirm that the trail maps will be worked on this weekend and the updated version will be available soon. You will be able to find it in place of the original that is now on the "downloads" page. Sunday will be another work day for me at the club. I will gladly accept any volunteers that would like to show and help with trails or irrigation. Several smaller connecting trails are needed to help get the mileage necessary for the upcoming Hare Scrambles. I am hoping to get some irrigation in place before the weather gets us. We may not need it this year anymore, but would be nice to have ready for next.
As always I have been working behind the scene on the future of our facility. I will not always go into details on these things but I would like those that care to know. Drive Permit, Water Truck, acquiring the farm ground, next years event schedule are all things that I have been moving forward with. I can always use help or even just input, if anyone cares to chase me down on these or any other issues.
Hope to see You and your Family soon.
AND,.... When in doubt, GAS IT!

Hello Everyone,
What a beautiful day it was today. I could not be at our property all day, but did get to fly in couple times to get new and interested people in to check out the place,... and even camp. Four different families are camping tonight. Lucky folks!
Tomorrow should be a big day. Several new looker/riders are to show and several people/members are to come help work. We should get a couple trails complete I would think. I sure hope the day is as nice as it was today.
Well,... Get down and spend some time before it gets cold and nasty. I hope to see you then.
There is nothing like the cool crisp smell of fall,...
with a hint of RACE FUEL !

  10/5/08
Hey folks !
Today was, in deed, a good day at our place. I wish everyone could have made it. The weather was beautiful, lots of friendly faces, and some work got done as well. If you missed it, do not worry,.. The best is still to come.
Thanks to all that showed up to help progress our future recreation. Special Thanks to Barry Mitzel and family ! They showed up with shingles and applied them to the changing hut. Greatly appreciated ! Several of us worked on trails, mapping, as well as photo and video for the site. Thank you all.
New trails are finding there way about the property. Please feel free to find and ride. As I have said, The trails will be changing somewhat. New directions will be a thing to be looking out for. The arrows will be going up as time allows. Be careful until then, and keep a look out.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed for good weather on the weekend of the 18th and 19th. The NEOC Hare Scramble will be our biggest event to date. I would like everyone to tell all their family and friends to come and at least spectate. It will be great support for the future of our facility,... as well as Great fun. Everyone is welcome to register and ride the event as well. Polish that bike and show everyone what you're made of ! And if you are not made of much,... register the lil ones and let them show us ! I can not wait to see the kids tackling those trails.
Thanks again, to everyone, for a great weekend. All you new faces should get back to see us, and all you old friends should bring more new ones.
               See You soon, Wick

  10/6/08
Hi All !
Another very nice day ! Walt and I got to spend a bit of time on our trails again today. The plan is coming together a little at a time. I must say,...It is quite pleasing.
I would like to ask everyone to keep in mind that we will be needing big equipment in the next month or so. If anyone could hook us up with rental of a track loader or dozer or knows of someone that would donate their service digging at a reasonable rate, Please let us know. We have BIG plans for a BIG track.
Classifieds have been added to the site. Send all your info to me at my wickertoo@aol.com email and I will get them listed. Pics are nice, but not necessary. If you do send pics send them in a file please. Try to keep the things club related, ...bikes,gear,trailers,camping,ect.
I sense  a hiLLCimb in the near future. Better get that new knobby !    Wick

Hello everyone,
WOW!, what a week. A lot is happening with Wicky's World. First I better Thank all the people that helped get things going and in place. I could not do what's happening without you guys,....and girls.
The trails are coming along real well. The first hill climb is open and ready to challenge. The updated trail map is in place on the downloads page. Check out the map and new and updated directions that are in place for some of the trails. Get to know what's what before letting that wrist take over. We know that there are ribboning and arrows that need to be placed in some locations, but feel free to let us know what you are thinking and if you feel something needs help or changed.
Well,.. less then a week till the Hare Scramble. I will be on the property a lot this week getting ready. We are still looking for a few volunteers to help with parking and food. Remember to tell and invite all that may want to see the action. It will only cost $5 to get in the gate for non members. Members to South Branch or Wicky's World will get in FREE. Any that wish to ride the event will have to pay to register in the appropriate class. I hope to see you all there!
I will be back with more info this week. Stay tuned.

Hello Hello,
Thank You ! Thank You NEOC- Leaders and the Great working Crew, Mother, Father, Ruth, Robin, Steve, Walt, Tanya, Doug, Kathy, Bruce, Anthony, Jim, Steve G., Eric, Fawn Ambulance, The Urey's, Bill Wilson and family, Signs By Tomorrow, Maple Lawn Farms & Maze Quest Fun Park, and all that pitched a hand where needed.
I think the event went good overall. We were blessed with good weather and a good turn out. The course seemed nothing less then GREAT. Food was AWSOME ! The  fellows that let the wrist take over are not seriously hurt and are home healing. What more could we ask ??
I would like to say Congratulations to all that placed in the event. Special congrats to our members, Matthew Reed and Marshall Horan. Matthew placed fourth in his first ever Hare scramble. Marshall placed 9th in his first race in the lite C class. Good job guys !!! You both should be proud to have done so well.
I invite all to send pics and video to be added to the site. I will be adding a page as soon as I get the material together. I want to ask anyone that is willing, to send me comments on the event. I would really like to hear some feed back on the course and Wicky's World in general. Do not be shy,.. Tell us what you think.
More to come. Stay tuned, Wick

Hello,
My apologies to all. I have been away too long. A lot has been happening. Maybe a lil too much? If I were to make excuses,  I guess that would be the one. I will try to catch up on a few things this week. If you tried to contact me and I did not get back to you, I am sorry. Please feel free to try again.
I would like to express appreciation to all that have shown interest in our property. I have been surprised... almost overwhelmed with response. I know this is due to some very good friends spreading a very good word about us. I want you folks to know that you are appreciated as well. Thank You!!
I have not received much in pics or comments about the NEOC event. I will put up what I have in the next day or so.
The BCTR event is still on for this Sunday the 9th. There will be a Pit Bike Poker run Saturday evening before the camping begins. Any who wish to hang and camp are welcome. May not be a whole lot of this beautiful weather left? Please consider entering your kids or your old self in this event. This is promised to be a laid back fun run. Lets all take advantage and help BCTR make this event a success.
A bit of change in the gate fee for members. Our members will now be ask to pay at the gate for the entrance and the camping if applicable. I will though, refund these fees to any WW or SBSP members that attend. Just see me at or after the event for the refund.
Everyone should be looking at the trail map. Most of the new trails are on there. There will soon be 'hiking only' trails to be added. I want all our members to know the trails and directions. The events have been causing a bit of confusion due to running some trails backward. We will be replacing arrows after this weekend and as soon as possible. Please bare with us and study the map.
I think I have fixed the waiver download. It should now be available for printing. Please feel free to let me know if you have troubles with the site. I am new at this and will be open to hearing from you.
I will leave it at that for now. Hope to see you this weekend.
                 Hugh

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving !           I hope your turkey was the BEST, Your desert even better, and your team won.
I would like to welcome the new members to our property. Please feel free to stay in touch with me throughout your membership with any and all questions and concerns. I would like to remind you to be informed of our rules and regulations. These are very important to our members safety, our property's well being and our organizations overall existence. Please, be informed. The rules are subject to, and WILL change. It will always be the members responsibility to know and obey these rules.
Well,.. The hunting of deer is here ! The property will be off limits to ALL members for the next two weeks. I am sure most of you riders will be out there gunning for that big boy anyhow. Probably wishing you had that seat under your butt getting back out of the woods too!? Well Good luck to ya, Be safe, and we will see you in a couple weeks.
                                                                          Hugh

Another year ?    Happy New Year everyone!

I hope the holidays were all that you expected.

Well, it has been either too cold to ride or too wet to ride.? That time of year I guess? Not looking too bad today when I was down. I was doing a little bit of trail work and wood cutting.

Lots of maintenance/track/trail work will be going on for the next
few weeks/months/years. I am though, only looking for help for the near future.  I will be trying to get some things accomplished this weekend, 1/3 and 1/4. Anyone that would like to volunteer can just show up. I will be there all weekend if weather is permitting.

Hope to see you there, Hugh

  1/3/09

Thank You !  It was a good productive day thanks to the handful of members to show and help.

We got a bridge built, trails fixed, a new trail put in, and waterways worked on. Lots more to do for any whom can give us a day here or there. Tomorrow we will be there again.

Tracks and trails seem to be in good riding shape. Bring the kids out for a winter ride, or just stop in to jump on the trampoline and eat a burger.

See You there, Hugh

  Hello every one,
Once again, I must say Thanks !  A few members stepped up the last couple days and helped me get ready for our friends from DEP. Meeting went good today. Real pretty down there with all the ice on the trees. Wet walking though ! ? More trails and things will have to be worked and kept in shape. I will need everyone to keep an eye out for new signage and trail directions.
Please, keep in mind the weather the days prior to visiting. If it has been raining, and it is muddy, we must not be riding. It is to detrimental to our place. Use discretion and common sense when the property is wet.
Keep those bikes juiced up and shiny, Warm weather will be here soon. Wick

  1/11/09

I spent the day cutting wood on the property.  Did lots of mind work engineering the next couple years worth of development. I must say it was a good day.
Came home to an awesome email. I thought I would share it. Please check this out... http://www.theinterviewwithgod.com/popup-frame.html

       Hello Hello,
Nothing much but a lil snow. Ground is white and froze you know.
?? Could not help myself ? Would like to have more to say about going ons, but there is not much happening. The behind the scene work is still happening. I get some of these legalities out of the way and some nicer weather, should be getting that big track started.
Keep her happy,... riding weather will be here soon :)
            See you then, Hugh

  2/17/09

  Hello All,
                And Welcome new members.
Action has been minimal in the riding area. Weather has been keeping most bikes in the garage I guess. Not a bad thing,  for the mud is terrible.
Things are moving forward in other directions. Trails are getting work, legalities are slowly progressing, response toward the property and its potential are still overwhelming. I can not Thank You all enough. The optimism, ideas, and efforts from You people have been a blessing. Wicky's World would not be, without You.
Please keep the comments and suggestions coming.
                                                                 Hugh

   3/1/09
                 Well Hello Again,
Sounds like there will be more snow this week. I guess its good that we took advantage of the weather this weekend.
Tracks were close to perfect Saturday. Work was getting done and lots of potential members visited. Thanks to all for their interest and to all the help.
I hope everyone got the letter that was sent on the upcoming events this month. If not, feel free to inquire why you may have been missed. Please read and make sure you are aware of how things are going down. I, as always, am open to suggestions and /or help to make them go off with a wheelie.
Sounds like we should finally be getting that drive permit this month. ( now that makes me want to wheelie!) I will be starting on the dig as soon as I see it. I would ask any who happen to be in or out at that time to continue to use the old until I have made it obvious the new one is ready.
I must stress again one of our rules. It would be #5, the one that says... All riding must be done on established riding areas. Tracks and Trails only. No off trail riding is permitted. This is a very important rule for several reasons and must be followed with the rest. I have also seen allot of track cutting and someone making hill climbs out of the sides of the jumps on the MX Track. PLEASE, have consideration, and do not take offense to being reminded of the things that could hurt us if not respected.
Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.  Hope to see you on the property. Hugh
